aste.asroma.it, the club's new official online auction platform, will make its bow on May 13
AS Roma is set to launch its own online auction platform in partnership with Charity Stars, the leading online fund-raising company.
When yellow and red... go under the hammer. As of Wednesday May 13, 2015 the club's new official auction site will be up and running at http://aste.asroma.it. The main purpose of this new initiative is to facilitate the sale of AS Roma-certified merchandise and raise funds for Roma Cares, the foundation set up by the club to promote and finance worthwhile social causes.
The bulk of the sports merchandise going under the virtual hammer will be AS Roma-authenticated matchday jerseys. The AS Roma authentication programme was rolled out in July 2014 with the aim of certifying the authenticity of all shirts worn by Giallorossi players in competitive and friendly matches.
aste.asroma.it does more than just offer you the chance to get your hands on some real Roma playing kit though. The club plans to organise a series of initiatives giving fans the opportunity to bid for some truly unique items on the new auction platform.
The first item to go up for sale on aste.asroma.it is a one-of-its-kind GIALLOROSSI CITROEN C4 CACTUS, designed by AS Roma's commercial partner and autographed by Rudi Garcia and the players.
Fans will be able to make their opening offers on May 13 and bidding will continue until May 25. If you've ever dreamed of a owning a car that expresses the love you feel for all things Giallorossi, this is the chance you've been waiting for!
So make sure you head over to aste.asroma.it next Wednesday. You'll be able to consult a FAQ section with all the key information fans and collectors might need. And then... you'll be ready to place your first bid!
